Please see following details of this weeks ride. Something a little different this weekend.
The club has riders spread all over the UK this coming weekend: on holiday, touring in Scotland, racing at Shrewsbury, marshaling MTB races at Dudmaston and riding Sportives at Telford and Cambridgeshire. The sum of all these activities equals large numbers of members unavailable for club rides. As a result, it is proposed to run only one club ride, at Group B level – the enjoyable, chattering, laughing group.
Meet Clee Cycles @ 09.00. For a 40 mile flattish group ride at the comfortable pace of the slowest. Rindleford – Worfield – Woundale -then into small lanes to Bobbington – Enville – Canal towpath to Stourton (Better condition than most local roads ! ) – The ‘Flat Mile’ – Smestow Gate – Halfpenny Green Vineyard 11.30. Coffee and Cake. Return Bridgnorth via Barnsley. Arrive approx 13.00. Note. If the weather has been wet, the canal towpath will be substituted by riding directly to Greenforge Lane.
This ride is designed to be a flattish group club ride, and all are welcome. Any Group A riders not active elsewhere are more than welcome, but remember it is an easy ride. This ride would be eminently suitable for new riders considering giving riding a try.
Weather: Cloudy. 40% chance of a shower pm. Temp. 7 -16 C. Wind 14 mph from the SW.
