Sunday Bike Rides. 23rd April 2017.

Group 1. Meet Clee Cycles @ 09.00 for an easy paced 40 mile ride at the speed of the slowest. Route: Bridgnorth – Tuckhill – Gilberts Cross – Halfpenny Green – Seisdon – Nurton – Albrighton. Coffee and Cake at Cafe Da. Return to Bridgnorth by around 13.00. All welcome, especially new riders.

Group 2. Meet Clee Cycles @ 09.00. 56.5 mile ride at an average of 15 – 16 mph. After David Bs tough hilly bash last week, this weeks route is generally significantly flatter and travels north. Evelith – Great Chartwell – Wheaton Aston – Albrighton. Coffee and Cake at Cafe Da. Return to Bridgnorth either with Group 1 OR a longer 20 mile route for those who want some extra miles. Group 1 Lead by myself. Starting from Clee Cycles at 9am approx 41 miles easy pace 12-13mph.
A442 out of Bridgnorth towards Kidderminster
Danesford, Quatford, Wootton, Tuckhill, Birdsgreen, Alveley, Upper Arley, Shatterford, Compton, Gallowstree Elm, Halfpenny green aiport,
Vineyard Cafe.
Returning via Heathton, Claverly, Ludstone, stanlow, Badger, Stableford, catstree, A442 to Bridgnorth.

Group 2 lead by Paul Morris. Starting from Clee Cycles at 9am approx 49 miles fairly flat for a slightly quicker ride 15-16mph.
Out to Ridleford, Worfield, past Chesterton GC to Albrighton, Cosford, Tong, up off Oxley Rd to Brewood, Codsall, Perton, Perton Ridge to
Pattingham, Down clive Rd to Fox at Shipley, Cross Bridgnorth Rd to old Severn Stars PH at Seisdon. RH up Tinkers Castle, down to Fabric Barn
and across to Halfpenny green, Vineyard Cafe.
Returning with Group1 to Bridgnorth.

Forecast little cool to start with 7deg but very sunny 18deg by lunch time 🙂
